In Venezuela Gas Costs 12 Cents A Gallon

Kamau KujichaguliaTrenton, NJ -- Why is Hugo Chavez selling his oil for $120 per barrel ($3.65 a gallon)to the world but his own people are only paying 12 cent a gallon?
Because there is so much oil and he
' s decided not to cheat or gouge his own people.It
' s very simple. We've been sold a bill of goods. And we' ve swallowed it hook, line and sinker.There is no shortage of oil. There never has been a shortage of oil. There
' s no capacity problems - there is no reason for high gas prices . . . except . . . GREED!The oil companies, the governments of the world (mostly the white ones) have conspired to steal our hard earned money by using any and every method they can.
The most striking being holding back on world production of oil. Saudi Arabia and OPEC could produce twice as much oil as they do and we would still have enough to tide us over for another 100 years.
Did you ever wonder why in the United States the oil companies have all these permits to drill for oil - but they don
' t dig. It' s because they don' t want to upset the status quo. If they drilled that oil there would be too much, prices would drop and they would not make as much money off of us.They could do it - they won
't.In Venezuela, Chavez drills enough oil out of the ground so he can sell it on the open market at world prices but at home still have enough to keep prices down for his people. He also gives it to his friends like Cuba and Ecuador at sweetheart prices.
Barack Obama knows this. That
' s what he keeps talking about when he says he' s going to change the atmosphere in Washington; he' s not going to cave in to the special interest groups or lobbyists. That the old Washington two step will not be part of his administration.Why he doesn't
just come out straight with what he means, I don' t know. He could. He should. They (the conspirators) know he knows and that he intends to change the rules of engagement - or does he.The danger he is in, even speaking in the riddles he has chosen to use, is grave. To actually spill the beans on the plot may very well cost him his life.
Look at it this way. This is no secret. But has any of your representatives come and talked with you about this. Here in Trenton, has Rush Holt told the people he represents about this? No, none of them have. (Sen. Ed Muskie did in 1974)
But it
' s out there. It' s true. In your heart you know it' s true. You just never really wanted to know the people you have put your trust in all these years, were actually lying to you. That they were taking your hard earned money, money you needed to care for you family.But we knew! We didn
' t want to believe the fat cats didn' t give a damn about us or our families. Believe it.There
' s a slight chance Obama will shed light on the filth. It' s not likely but he might. McCain' s oily hands are dripping with the lies.So what do you do if you find out you
' ve been lied to about the cost and price of oil? The oil that heats your home and drives your car. The prices that affect everything you buy.What do you do if you find out the money you could be using to feed and cloth your family is taken from you just so some fat cat can smoke his illegal Cuban cigar?
Most likely you do nothing! That
' s what you are used to doing. You continue to let these bloodsuckers suck you dry and cause all kinds or havoc within your family.What should you do?
I only know of two things you can do.
Spread the word. Tell everyone you know about this. There are many resources out there that document this horror. One is by Greg Palast called Armed Madhouse.
Talk to you husbands and wives, you brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, your children, work family, church family, play family. Write your representatives, all of them. Write my representatives.
There is much power in shedding light. They gotten away with it because they twist the light out of the truth quicker and more often than we tell that truth.
Voting for Obama might help. I don
' t know. I do know voting for McCain will not.Get Obama to come clean with what he knows. Sure it
's dangerous but that clan already knows he knows and if they want to take him out they will try.If you support Obama be prepared to protect him. Again the only way of protecting anything is to shed light on it. You have to talk about keeping him safe and let everyone know you will not condone anything less.
We
